Typically, manifestations consist of two rows of white or frosted dots on the glass, either 50mm or 75mm in size. These dots are positioned at heights of 1500mm and 800mm from the floor. As long as the manifestations adhere to these guidelines in terms of size and height placement, they can take various shapes, including incorporating company logos. This ensures compliance with the necessary health and safety requirements.

Glass Manifestation is usually the term used for frosted window films applied onto glass to obscure the vision and/or to prevent people from walking into the glass. However, glass manifestation can take many forms from opaque window film through to coloured window films and digitally printed window films.
Health and safety legislation stipulates that all commercial buildings with full-height glass must have some form of manifestation on the glass for public and employees’ safety.
The Building Regulations 2000: Part M states that glass entrance doors and glass screens will satisfy requirement M1 or M2 if:
a) They are clearly defined with glass manifestation on the glass at two levels; between 850mm and 1000mm and between 1400mm and 1600mm above the floor, contrasting visually with the background seen through the glass (both inside and out) in all lighting conditions.
b) Manifestation takes the form of logo or sign at least 150mm high (repeated if on a glazed screen), or a decorative feature such as broken lines or continuous bands, at least 50mm high.
